Last Christmas my parents bought me an electric guitar I was truly surprised when I got it. Here is what happened. It was Christmas morning, just like every other christmas my parents made my brothers and I wait before we could go downstairs, so that they can go down first. I saw an amplifier and a guitar case. I instantly got really excited and ran over to the case to open it hoping that there was a guitar inside. I  opened the case and it was empty. my mom told me it was for m acoustic guitar so I tried to put my acoustic in and it wouldn't fit so while I was getting upset that it wouldn't fit, my mom said why don't you look behind the tree. so I walked around the the couch and looked behind the tree. Surely enough there  was a red electric guitar behind the tree. I was so happy and I was truly surprised

today I asked my mom what she thought I should do my blog on and she said "You should do your blog on how you have the best parents in the world, who do put up with all of your crap." I just laughed. Then I got to thinking about it and I decided to actually do my blog on how my parents are the best inn the world because the do put up with all of my crap. I love my parents because if I do something wrong they will give me a consequence and no matter how much I say sorry  they won't back down, and they make sure I always learn my lesson. My parents help me with any of my social problem I have, because I know that I can always talk to them about anything, for instance I can tell them if I got in a fight with a friend or if I said something I felt bad for saying because I did not mean to say it, My parents always know how to fix problems like these. I love my parents because they always know how to help.

Today in basketball practice we started out with dribbling like speed dribbling, crossovers, and controlled dribbling. Then we played three on three guarding drills. we also practiced two on three and two on one. After that we had to get a partner and a ball we had to do a ball fake, step across, and give a bounce pass to our partner. After we did a drill where there was one kid under the basket and two on the side. The person under the goal would bounce the ball off of the backboard to himself, then pass it to the person in the back while the other person runs to the other side of the court. The person who got the ball took one or two dribbles up the court then pass ed it to the person who would make a layup. Then once we had finished that drill we split up half went with Mr. Garcia and the other half went with the assistant coach. I started out in Mr. Garcia's group where we practiced getting big, pivoting, and layups. Then we switched sides everyone who was with Mr. Garcia went to the assistant coaches and everyone who was with him went to Mr. Garcia's side. With the new assistant coach we had to run touch the paint then he would pass us the ball and we would take a jump shot. We did couple more drills after that, but over all it was a good practice.

Today right before the bus left I felt a vibration in my pocket, so I checked my phone and my mom was calling me. I answered the phone and she said you need to get a ride to crossfit Rutherford, a workout gym in Murfreesboro where my mom teaches crossfit kids, she wanted me to get a ride because she had to change cars since my dad sold her old one. I got on to the bus and started asking people which stop they were getting off at IGA or Kroger. Those who were getting off at IGA I asked if they could give me a ride to Crossfit, and I said that I could give them directions. Tiger couldn't because he already had two big dogs in his car, Ashia couldn't because she had to go to a game, and Donovan couldn't because his parents don't pick him up in the afternoon Eddy's parents do so I asked Eddie and he said that his car was to small, then I asked gram and he said that he couldn't. The only people left that I could ask were the high schoolers but none of them could either so I called my mom and told her that no one could give me a ride. She said that she was on her way and hung up. so I waited at the bus stop for about five minutes. When she got to the bus stop I put my cello in the car and then my bag then I got in, and my mom started driving to crossfit. Once we got there my mom started setting up for her first crossfit kids class, and I did my workout.

I'm really liking what were talking about in history because it is our own opinion and what we think is important to have in a good government. We are going to create our own colony in a sense which I think is pretty cool. We are also talking the constitution and about the people involved. In math we are practicing linear and nonlinear functions in equations, graphs, and tables. Math is really easy right now for me. In science we are studying the periodic table and chemical properties, physical properties, physical changes, and chemical changes, we also just had a quiz on substances, mixtures, compounds, elements, matter, homogeneous mixtures, heterogeneous mixtures, and matter. The quiz also had stuff like solid to a liquid to a gas and then a gas to a liquid to a solid. we also learned that sublimation is a solid straight to a gas, and deposition is a gas straight to a solid. English is a little harder for me than many other things probably because i'v never been much of a creative writer and I will continue to try my hardest in school and to be the best student that I possibly can.

The quote  “He found himself understanding the wearisome of life, where every path was an improvisation and a considerable part of one’s waking life was spent looking at one’s feet.” means that he found the part of his life where he has nothing to do and is just kind of walking around looking for something to do. When hen he was walking around he noticed that he was walking just because he had nothing to do and that most of the time when people are walking around it is because they have nothing to do either, and are looking for something to do. I think that this quote includes everyone in the world because when ever we have nothing to do we just walk around trying to find something to do.
There was an explosion and then the plane crashed near an island, then a sign came down from the world of grown ups it was a pilot from a plane that had parachuted down looking for safety but only to be shot by more enemy fire and got tangled up in his parachute. In the morning Sam and Eric found him dead tangled in his parachute and they had mistaken him for a beastie.

Dear Auntie
I was on the plane but we crashed landed on an island. The pilot died in the crash along with all of the other adults. The other kids and I found a conch shell. We use it to symbolize power, whoever holds it gets to speak. We also blow it to call forth a meeting, well I don't because of my As-mar. I feel special because i'm the only kid on the island that has it. We all have been assigned jobs to help us all survive. Like the hunters and the gatherers. All of the groups take turns lighting the signal fire which is a huge fire with lots of smoke to signal any boats that pass the island so that we can leave. I think that it is a safe place to be because we are safe from the wars that broke out everywhere else.We have drinkable water, wild boars that we can hunt for meat, and edible plants. Ralph thinks that his dad  is going to save us because his dad is in the marines. We had a chance to be rescued but Jack ruined it because he was to caught up on killing his first pig and didn't light the fire

If there were no adults there would be no rules and it would be fun at first because I could drive a car or take whatever I want from stores.  It would be fun to be able to go wherever I want to go whenever I want. The first couple of days  I would stay up late and have fun, but I think after a while it might get kind of boring.  I think I would start to miss my parents. I also wonder who would be responsible for taking care of my two little brothers? Would I be responsible for them or would they have to take care of themselves? As there older brother I would feel like it was my responsibility to take care them.   I don't think that the world is ready to have no adults because kids cannot be quiet long enough to establish a plan for how to run things. I think that the world is better with adults.

The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime

"Sometimes people are born with disabilities, but it's communities that handicap them."
~Anonymous

I agree that communities can handicap people with disabilities more than the disabilities themselves.  Instead of letting these people fail or succeed on their own merit, if someone is born with a disability the people around them will treat them differently.  It is assumed by many that disabled people need more help than others, so they are never given the chance to try to do things on their own.   For example, in the book Christopher's dad had assumed that Christopher would not be able to handle hearing that his mother had left with another man.   When Christopher found the letters written by his mom, he was confused and devastated because his dad had lied. By doing what he felt was better for Christopher,  his Dad had handicapped him and the relationship between the two of them.   Perhaps if Christopher's Dad had been honest with him when his mom left, there relationship may not have been damaged and Christopher  may not have left to find his mother. If we gave people with disabilities a chance to show us what they can do and stopped looking at them as only a disability, then we may be surprised with what they're capable of.
